This rating indicates that the film will contain elements like intense violence and graphic imagery, in line with the Mad Max franchise's gritty tone.

George Miller, the director, said the new movie isn't just one long car chase, but it will have action that’s just as intense as the first film. The R rating allows the movie to include the violence and chaos that are part of the Mad Max world, making it feel real and exciting.

George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will hit theaters in exactly one month, and Warner Bros. has released a new TV spot that includes additional scenes of Anya Taylor-Joy's character in action. This latest preview offers fans a closer look at the adrenaline-fueled sequences and the Wasteland's harsh environment, providing a glimpse into the high-octane world of the Mad Max prequel.

The movie follows a young Furiosa, who is taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and ends up with a notorious Biker Horde led by Dementus. In the apocalyptic Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel, ruled by Immortan Joe. As these two tyrants battle for control, Furiosa faces various ordeals on her journey to return home.

Written and directed by George Miller, the film features a diverse cast including Lachy Hulme as Immortan Joe, Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, John Howard as The People Eater, Angus Sampson as The Organic Mechanic, Charlee Fraser as Mary Jo Bassa (Furiosa's mother), Daniel Webber as a War Boy, and Quaden Bayles. These actors bring to life the rich and complex characters that populate the Mad Max universe, each adding depth to the post-apocalyptic storyline of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
