"Asphalt Legends Unite," set to release on July 17, 2024, is an expansion for Asphalt 9: Legends, which is currently accessible on various platforms such as the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The expansion's launch on PS4 and PS5 introduces a unified cross-platform experience, an upgraded graphic engine, and a "modernized" art direction specifically designed for console players. It also features a reimagined garage that retains game progress and previously unlocked vehicles, along with a redesigned user interface. Additionally, Gameloft mentioned that social features and customization options are in development.

"We are dedicated to enhancing the game to provide the ultimate Asphalt experience," stated game manager Ignacio Marin. "Today marks the beginning of a new era for the Asphalt series, and we will soon unveil our roadmap to give players a glimpse of what's to come in the future. Removing the number from the title is our way of saying that this is Asphalt, bringing together all our players, both now and in the future."

Gameloft is currently experiencing a busy period, having developed and launched Disney Dreamlight Valley. Additionally, they are working on a Dungeons & Dragons survival role-playing game life simulation.
